Some examples of the types of murals Emma can paint
Murals are great for brightening up all sorts of rooms in all sorts of venues. Some examples include classrooms, learning rooms, libraries, schools, hospitals, public buildings, visitor centres, bird hides, reception areas, shops and cafés. Or how about live mural painting at your museum or gallery event?
Where?
- What is the address of your venue?
- Whereabouts in the venue will the mural be situated?
- Is it internal or external (indoor or outdoor mural)?
- What type of location is it (e.g. a café, classroom, library, reception, gallery space etc.)
- Is it an area used by lots of people?
How big?
- The width and height of the space to be painted.
- Will it be necessary to work at height?
How much detail?
- Are you looking for a scene with a coloured background or 'cut out' images where the colour of the wall is the background?
Timescale
- Does the mural have to be painted within a specific time frame? Will the venue be open to the public?
Level of detail
- Available in person (in Nottingham, UK), or remotely by email.
Your ideas/type of design
- What would you like your mural design to look like?
How much do murals cost?
- Do you have a specific budget or funding source for the project?
- A ballpark day rate is £400 per day + travel and materials. Different complexities of design will take different lengths of time to paint. Please ask Emma for advice.
Alternatives to murals
- Depending on your individual circumstances, it may make more sense to opt for large format printed graphics.
