O2 "It's Your Community" Art Competition
I was recently selected as the National Winner of the 02 'It's Your Community' Art Competition. My entry can be seen below.
Entries for this competition had to be inspired by the statment "The world is a better place when our communities are connected".
My piece is based on a jigsaw puzzle, with each piece showing something which helps a community to connect, both to other communities, and for members of that local community to connect with one another.
My piece is based on the Sheffield community, since that is where I am based - although many of the things represented can apply to any community.
Individual illustrations show -

Peter Pan Pantomime Poster
Illustrated poster design for the University of Sheffield Light Entertainment Society, a local amateur dramatics group. Poster is for a production of "Peter Pan the Pantomime".
The poster is brightly coloured and light-hearted, and features the main characters such as Peter Pan, Captain Hook, the crocodile, and of course Hook's mother - the pantomime dame!

Snow White Pantomime Poster
Illustrated poster design for the University of Sheffield Light Entertainment Society, a local amateur dramatics group. Poster is for a Christmas production of "Snow White the Pantomime".
In this production, the seven dwarves include a Harry Potter style House Elf, a Hobbit, an angry Scottish gnome, an Austrian Leprechaun, an Oompa Loompa and one of Father Christmas's elves - hence the strange array of characters in the image.

His bill will hold more than his belican.
He can take in his beak
Food enough for a week,
But I'm damned if I see how the helican"
