I exhibited at the Museums & Heritage Show earlier this month and it was a fantastic event. It was lovely to meet so many great contacts and to see people's reactions to my artwork. I hope to be involved in some exciting new projects very soon!
A big thank you to my Dad who helped me out and kept me company over the two days!
My exhibition graphics were printed by G&L Services in Sheffield, a fantastic local company and brilliant quality printing - www.glsdigital.co.uk

I have been working on this illustrated reconstruction of the tomb of Tutankhamun for several months now and it became something of a labour of love. It required an extensive amount of research to try and piece together where all the different objects were situated, and how they were coloured.
I am very grateful to the Griffith institute at the University of Oxford, who have uploaded Howard Carter's original notes, artefact database and Harry Burton's photographs to their website. This amazing online resource is well worth a visit, you can find it here - Tutankhamun: Anatomy of an Excavation
Below are some close-ups of parts of the tomb -

NEW VERSION

I've finally re-designed and tidied up my website; as you can see the layout is pretty much the same, but I have changed the text and images to pull everything better together and give the site more of a slick appearance.
I've also cut down the selection of work pretty ruthlessly, so that main web pages only show what I consider to be my strongest work. However you can still find all of the old stuff on the blog.

The Ruskin Gallery at Sheffield's Millennium Galleries is reopening next week after a major refurbishment. As part of this I was commissioned to create am illustrated cat character based on 'Puss', John Ruskin's cat.
Ruskin mentions in his diaries that Puss used to play with his fob watch, as shown in this illustration.
I created 5 illustrations in total, to be used on a family trail for the new Ruskin Gallery - hopefully Puss will be popular with visitors!

Here are four seasonal themed versions of Geoffrey the Lion, the Castle Howard children's mascot. Castle Howard will use these on seasonal children's trails at the castle. The themes are Myths & Months, Halloween, Easter and Christmas.
